Project Hello. A random act of kindness.
A homeless person is often dismissed as 'the guy on the corner' or 'the woman with the cardboard sign'. In 2003, 86 the onions began Project Hello. In an effort to recognize and respect homeless people as members of the community, Project Hello distributed more than 5000 'Hello my name is' signs, asking each individual to write their name onto a sign. Photographs were on display on the website, and in several exhibitions, PSAs, and more. If you'd like to know more about the project, visit www.projecthello.org (Agency: 86 the onions)
